For the 2025 round, the IDN's Events Circle was given responsibility for coordinating the fund distribution in the spirit of increased transparency, democracy, and participation. With additional support from the Support Group and Steady State Manchester, we were able to raise and distribute over €13,000 to 15 groups out of 54 applicants from nearly 30 different countries.
Building on this momentum, the fund will continue in 2026 with a total of €15,000 available to support new regional and thematic degrowth events. We hope to receive even more applications and support a growing number of projects as the degrowth community continues to expand and organize across regions.
